The 3 things.

We do our best to work efficiently, cleanly, and carefully while in your home.

Below are the 3 things we need you to do to help.

1. Play it safe.

  • Please let us know if anyone in your home is unwell with any contagious illness. We'll either adjust our processes or rebook you, as we have to cancel work if we become unwell.

2: Have the fire ready.

  • We need the fire to be cold. This may mean that you can’t use the fire the night before. If you are not sure that it will be cold the next day, please play it safe and use alternative heating. We will charge a cancellation fee if your fire is hot or has embers.

  • Please empty the fire, but hold on to some ash to put back in.  Please don't light the fire to empty it the day we come, as this risks the fire being too hot for us to work on.

3: Please make space for us to work.

  • It's very important that before we arrive, you remove any fireguard, even if it has a gate. We need a minimum of 1.5 meters of space directly in front of the hearth. This is so we can lay out our double bed sized drop sheet to keep the area clean, and have space to work.

  • We also need an accessible power point near the fire, where we don't need to unplug appliances, or touch furniture/drapes with our grubby hands.

We thank you for doing these things that help us work safely, cleanly and efficiently.

- Krystal & Nic.
